This morning during BlizzCon’s opening ceremony, Blizzard announced Diablo V, set a half-century after the events of Diablo IV. The game’s premise breaks from the series’ typical format: rather than preventing the apocalypse, Diablo V depicts an already-fallen Sanctuary where the Lord of Terror, Diablo, has won.
