Pretend you own an undelayed Steam Machine with this fine Steam Deck dock, now 33% off in the Amazon Spring Sale

The new Steam Machine remains an almost tragically distant prospect, despite Valve’s attempts at reassurance. But y’ know what the next best thing is? Not caring about hardware release dates, obviously. The second next best thing is to equip a Steam Deck with Ugreen’s handy 9-in-1 docking station, which is down from $60 to $40 in the Amazon US Spring Sale – and isn’t all that expensive in the UK either.

This particular model happens to be my own handheld PC dock of choice, and a current member of our best Steam Deck accessories list, being a flexible and port-rich combination of stand and socket provider. Plug in a Deck, hook the dock up to a monitor or TV, and voila; you wouldn’t even know it wasn’t the identically SteamOS-running Steam Machine, save for the fact that it has about one-sixth the games performance, and is not currently trapped in RAM shortage hell.

UK deal:

Since the US is having it’s own, super special, we-made-everyone’s-petrol-more-expensive-just-because Spring Sale, it does represent the better bargain: at $40, the Ugreen dock is matching its all-time price low, having previously sat at $60 for several weeks. Amazon UK’s ‘deal’ is a bit cheeky, as it’s had the dock fluctuating between lows of £36-38 and a £50 high since all the way back in July 2025.

Even so, this is a good price for a genuinely useful Steam Deck add-on. If you’re not interested in coping fantasies, it’s also excellent for turning the handheld into a makeshift Linux PC, or for connecting a mouse and keyboard for more efficient Desktop Mode delving. This is also much, much cheaper than Valve’s official docking station, while coming laden with a better selection of ports.
