Dell’s base laptop is still worth a look, despite being its lowest-priced model. It starts at just $249.99 with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with an AMD Ryzen 3 7320U.
Dell did have a 16GB/512GB version discounted, but that’s back up to full price. Thankfully, you can save $200 on the AMD Ryzen 7 version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Dell 16 Plus
If you’re looking for a machine for big creative projects like video or audio editing, then the Dell 16 Plus might be worth a look.
These machines come with Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI chips, and up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and start as low as $600. You can save almost $500 on the Dell 16 Plus with 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD.
Dell XPS
Dell’s XPS lineup has been popular for years for its svelte design that doesn’t compromise on power, and there are a few models to choose from.
You can find 2024 models for as low as $749.99, with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, with a saving of $350 before the student discount hits.
You can save on newer models, too, with $500 off the XPS 16 with an NVIDIA 4060, 32 GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It’s still $2,299.99, but you can adjust it from there to bring the price down.
Dell Pro Premium
Currently the top of the line for Dell for productivity machines, there are savings to be had on the Dell Pro lineup, but they’re slimmer.
They’re more focused on professional use than anything else, with Windows Pro preinstalled, but if you’re keen, you can find one as low as $1,724.20.
