Alienware’s laptop range this year includes the Alienware Aurora 16 and its more impressive Aurora 16X. Both are great laptops, but as you may have guessed from the ‘X’ in the title, the latter is the more impressive version.
It has double the refresh rate (up to 240Hz), an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, better performance, a Thunderbolt 4.0 port, and more premium materials. Why am I telling you all this? Thanks to a new deal, Alienware’s more premium system is actually the same price as the base Aurora 16, despite all those upgrades.
Get the Alienware Aurora 16X for the cost of the Aurora 16
The model you’re looking for on the product page is the third one along, which saves you $300 on the $2,099.99 which brings it down to $1799.99.
For that, you’re getting a big, 16-inch display with G-Sync support, as well as the aforementioned features like the Intel Core Ultra 9.
This configuration also includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB of M.2 SSD storage, and that all-important NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070.
That gives you all the fun of NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, but at the cost of some of the grunt offered by its predecessors.
If you’re curious, you can go for the Aurora 16 instead if you’d prefer, with $150 saved off of an RTX 5050 model or a 5060 option.
