Slate Notes
- This is an easy yet tough schedule on Friday as we have three massive favorites in Fnatic, Rogue, and Misfits. This is a rematch week of all week one matches, so it has been a while since these teams have matched up. That being said, there aren’t many playoff impacts here as Team Vitality has a three-game lead on the last playoff spot. The only way we get chaos playoff possibility is if Excel and Vitality have an 0-3 weekend and Mad Lions or SK Gaming go 3-0. Not impossible, not likely. Due to this, it is more a battle for seeding, so no one is going to phone anything in here. Back in week one, Rogue defeated SK in 27 minutes, Misfits took 41 minutes to beat Astralis, and Fnatic 34 to beat Team BDS. G2 and Excel played a banger, with G2 putting up 27 kills in their 41 minutes victory. Excel however has been a much better team with Mikyx at support.
- When it comes to pricing, we are kind of all over the place here as the TOP and JNG for Misfits is priced third or lower, but the MID/ADC are priced at the top or second. For value, it is going to need to come from the variation of the favorites where we get slight mispricing or looking at G2, VIT, or XL. While Mad Lions, Astralis, SK, and BDS all have the low ownership upset angle, they are the bottom four teams here for a reason. Mad Lions is on a six-match losing streak, while eight of the nine bottom spots in total KDA is made up from a player from one of those teams. Surprisingly on that list is HiRit from Misfits, who has the second-lowest KDA in the league – four stacks from Misfits may want to ignore him for now.
