Rocket League’s Season 5 update is on the way – we just don’t know exactly when yet. Season 4 is coming to an end soon and there’s going to be another fantastic update for Psyonix’s Soccar title in the next week. Here’s everything we know so far…
START DATE – When does Season 5 begin?
At the moment, we’re not entirely sure when Rocket League’s fifth season is due to begin. Many expected it to be this week, but Psyonix hasn’t made any announcements yet. With this in mind, we’re expecting Season 5 to begin at some point between November 15th and November 18th.

Traditionally, Rocket League updates go live on Wednesdays. So, this is something to keep in mind.
Much like last season, a new Rocket Pass should be added to Rocket League in Season 5 with a new car. In addition to this, we may see a new Arena added like Season 4’s Deadeye Canyon. Only time will tell, though. Keep an eye on Rocket League’s social media channels.
How Much Does the Rocket Pass cost?
If you’re interested in earning additional content each season, you can purchase the premium Rocket Pass. There are two options available in each season of Rocket League
- Rocket Pass Premium – 1000 Credits (£/$10) – Access to over 70 tiers of unique content.
- Rocket Pass Bundle – 2000 (£/$20) – All perks of premium plus a brand new car, the Outlaw, and 12 tiers automatically unlocked.

Unlike in other games with a pass system, you cannot earn enough in-game currency to purchase the next seasons’ pass. It’s only possible to earn 600 credits in each Rocket Pass.
In games like Fortnite and Warzone, you can unlock enough current by completing the battle pass to unlock the next seasons for free. Games like Rocket League and even Magic: The Gathering Arena have chosen to buck this trend, however.
