NHL DFS Cheat Sheet & Slate Overview| November 6, 2021 on DraftKings – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Saturday night is filled with ten games on the main slate, with no favorites that are bigger than -180, which should result in pretty spread out ownership when it comes to building line-ups.  Let’s have a look at some of the teams that I think are in the best spots tonight, and cap off today’s article with a cheat sheet for Saturday Night Hockey!

  • Boston are road dogs tonight – which surprises me as they head to Toronto for the first match-up between the two teams since the 2019-20 season.  While the regular season has been fairly even, Boston has ended Toronto’s season multiple times and I like the spot for BOS1/PP1 in this one.  Bergeron is fresh off of a four goal game, and while I wouldn’t expect rock bottom ownership levels on that line tonight, I do think they are in a good spot in this one.
  • With only one game checking in with a projected total of six, I think we will see some of the highest owned stacks being from this game, particularly the Ovie line for Washington.  While fading Ovie in cash with so many solid value plays on the board is a dicey proposition, in large field GPP MME formats tonight, I do like the idea of an under-weight or fade on Washington, who sit at -160 in a game projected with a total of six goals.
  • The Kraken have some viable options when it comes to value stacks, and they check in as large road favorites tonight as they take on Arizona.  My favorite way to play them is with the top PP unit, but I do think you can make a case in large field GPP’s to get some exposure to each of the top three lines along with Giordano on the back-end.
  • If you are looking to narrow down your player pool on such a deep slate, I like the idea of considering boxing out the NYI/WPG game along with VGK/MTL and DET/BUF, with my preference probably in that order.
  • I love what I have seen from the Flames so far this season.  Markstrom has been outstanding and each of their top two lines are great options to consider stacking with.  The top line has been great led by Matthew Tkachuk, and the second line is among the top options on the board for me in terms of value stacks.  One thing I’ll note about Calgary, is that I don’t love their options on the back-end…but you could go for a forward stack along with Markstrom for a 3-4 man combo.
