Breaking it all down.

In this series of articles, I’ll be referencing the players directly correlated to the QB as “primary stacks,” any other correlation will be counted as a “secondary stack.”

This lineup features a two-player CLE QB/WR primary stack, spending $9,400. For secondary stacks, we have a two-player HOU@IND RB/DST stack spending $10,100. We’ll also be keeping track of the FLEX spot, and this lineup goes with a TE, spending $4,800. In total, the lineup used $50,000 in salary and carried a 93.1% ownership percentage sum.

Takeaways and observations.

This lineup doesn’t get much out of the QB position with only 15.16 fantasy points from Baker Mayfield, QB/WR (15.1%) was the most popular stack construction in this tournament followed by QB/WR/OPP (12.9%). The gap between those numbers is shrinking as we get further into the season, which is an indication that the field is getting sharper and less casual money is being played.

The Slant ended with 105 users max entering 150 lineups, while 18 turned a profit. Of the top 5 placing lineups, two were entered by a 150 max user. Ultimately rikkidee won the day with 150 entries, 100 players used, and 16 unique teams stacked. rikkidee cashed 61 lineups and took home the 25k purse.

Breaking it all down.

This lineup features a three-player MIN QB/WR/WR primary stack, spending $15,500. For secondary stacks, we have a two-player LAR@NYG RB/WR stack, and a two-player HOU@IND RB/DST stack spending $10,100. For the FLEX, this lineup goes with an RB, spending $6,600. In total, the lineup used $50,000 in salary and carried a 119.1% ownership percentage sum.

Takeaways and observations.

QB/WR/OPP (18.5%) was the most popular stack construction in this tournament, followed by QB/WR/TE/OPP (13.5%) and QB/2WR/OPP (10%). Only 2.4% of the field featured the winning construction of QB/2WR. This lineup checks all the boxes, low owned primary stack, multiple secondary stacks/correlations. No surprise coming from a pro as good as rikkidee.
