Fortnite Season 8 has switched up the way players earn XP, and it makes leveling up the traditional way pretty hard. Here is how players can level up fast and reach tier 100 in no time.
At the start of each season, your player level in Fortnite is set back to 0. Players strive to climb back up to level 100 as quickly as possible. However, it can be quite a grind to earn all that XP.
Level 100 is even more enticing for Battle Pass owners. Reaching level 100 and beyond rewards BP owners with tons of cool cosmetics. And there is a pretty fast way to level up in Fortnite Season 8.
At the start of Season 8, players would spend tens of hours in the Impostors mode to gain loads of XP. Now that Impostors mode has been nerfed, there are a few other ways to earn XP fast.

Leveling up in Fortnite Impostor Mode
Fortnite’s Impostor mode was the easiest and fastest way to level up in Season 8. However, the amount of XP players can earn from the mode has been cut in half. But that doesn’t mean players can’t still use the mode to level up.
You can play Impostor mode in public lobbies to earn XP, but it’s much easier to level up in Private lobbies. You will need at least four people in your party to play a private match. Here are the amounts of XP you will earn for performing actions:
Agents & Impostor XP
- Complete tasks as Agent – 1,000 XP
- Play a match – 500 XP
- Spend time playing match – 350 XP
- Complete a match – 1,000 XP
- Win a match – 1,000 XP
- Perform a Sabotage as Impostor – 500 XP
- Eliminate Agents as Impostor – 500 XP
Some of the above tasks are multiplied by the number of times they are completed. For example, every task or player killed will reward players with the amount of XP listed. With a group of four, the Impostor can continuously spam the Peely Party sabotage while Agents complete tasks.

Completing Weekly/Daily Punchcards
There is also the more traditional route of earning XP via completing weekly challenges. However, Fortnite Season 8 has completely changed how weekly challenges work. Instead of being given tasks at the start of the week, players have to interact with the NPCs on the Island.
There are currently 17 characters on the island, and each one will give the player five different quests. Players can earn 80,000 XP from each character, and they can earn 1.36 million XP a week by completing all 17 quest punchcards.
There are also daily and weekly punchcards that offer minimal XP. By completing the character punchcards, the weekly and daily ones will be completed as well.
It’s also important to note that Epic Games is aware that XP gain is not as fast as it should be. As such, Fortnite’s XP and leveling system will see some adjustments on September 28.
Until then, you should keep grinding Impostors mode and make sure all of your weekly punchcards are filled out. For more Fortnite, check out how to get the overpowered Mythic Sideways Weapons, and stay tuned for more news and guides.
