Minecraft error code I-500

As soon as the I-500 error presents itself, it can often be worth checking the official Twitter handles for Mojang Support and Minecraft, to see if they have tweeted about any server issues. If not, let’s run through a few easy ways to potentially get back into the game.

The first thing to try is a classic reset of your router. If your internet boots back up with no issue check your internet speeds and if the game still presents this error, you know it is likely to be server-side.

If playing on PC, you can try closing all other applications down. this may sound strange but in some cases, it has removed the Minecraft 500 error code.

Ultimately, this error usually means there is nothing you can do. It may be painful but you are probably going to have to wait it out, which is less than ideal.
