The biggest upset from Friday was SK Gaming coming away with a win against Mad Lions, but otherwise, we got wins out of Rogue, Misfits, and Fnatic. That being said, those three teams are the three we are going to be targeting on Saturday as well as they all get pretty good matchups and while Fnatic gets G2, there is some leverage there. Rogue made easy work of Schalke on Friday and now get an Astralis team that was absolutely destroyed by Fnatic on Friday. Astralis has had a better split than I would have predicted, but they play a very dive-first aggressive style which can translate to a lot of fantasy upside… If the team doing it is skilled enough to do so. Rogue should be able to counter this easily, though the first time they met this split it ended in just a 14-6 kill advantage for Rogue. All Astralis starters are averaging over 2.5 deaths per game. But Misfits get Schalke here who is a team that is really struggling. I outlined a few times that this team is going to be no more after this split as their team spot has been sold. With your career up in the air, it probably isn’t helping your gameplay. Aside from that narrative, Misfits have just been one of the best team fighting teams on the year. Four starters here sit in the top-15 for KDA and this is a matchup that greatly sits in their favor. And for value here I am targeting Fnatic against G2 – yes that is right, VALUE Fnatic as though G2 is a -125 favorite, Fnatic is priced fifth or sixth at most positions. Fnatic won this matchup back in week three, with a 20-11 kill advantage and 8k gold advantage in a 27-minute win. This price for Fnatic is going to create a lot of ownership, but I with Upset leading the LEC in KDA at 9.36 and four Fnatic starters in the top ten for kills per game, Fnatic is a constant upside pick for us here.
