While Dignitas have certainly taken their lumps recently, they are basically right at the .500 mark on the season as a whole. Beyond that, it is nice to get a team as the fifth or sixth (or even seventh) priced team on a slate despite being a favorite. Dignitas opens here as a small favorite over Golden Guardians at -115, but starting in top lane, FakeGod is actually cheaper than Licorice here. Iconic is $400 more expensive in the jungle, Ablazeolive is $400 more in mid lane, and Stixxay is $200 more at ADC. So simply put, we are getting a lot of value on a Dignitas team who is 3-1 against Golden Guardians on the year. These two teams met just 14-days ago in fact, in a game that Dignitas won in 35 minutes with a 20-11 kill advantage. While this isn’t the prototypical core here, it is also nice to recommend someone besides saying play the best teams slate to slate. Of course, we are still going to do that here, but the value on Dignitas is what is allowing us to roster the EG/C9/100T/TL of the world.
