Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves both gave us big performances on Friday, with EG winning easily over FlyQuest with 18 kills, and 100 Thieves needing 44 minutes, but winning by 12k gold and a 21-9 kill advantage over Team Liquid. Both of these teams end up being our two more expensive teams on this slate, while Evil Geniuses face CLG and 100 Thieves face FlyQuest. Regardless of price, I am going to find ways to continue to stack against FlyQuest as they are on an eight game losing streak and while they have talent on their roster, I don’t see them breaking out of the losing streak against a top-three team in the LCS. Four 100 Thieves starters sit in the top eight for total KDA this split, with Abbedagge arguably being the best overall player with a 7.69 KDA. On the flipside, FlyQuest sit in the bottom of the rankings for deaths, as Licorice is averaging 4.25 and Dreams 3.5 per game. This is a team that has made some roster changes recently and could do so again really at any time. CLG could give EG a little bit more of a battle, but EG still plays the aggressive style we want to attack. Dignitas has the best overall matchup against Golden Guardians, but Dignitas has been a bit shakey themselves recently. Cloud9 and Team Liquid should be a great match as well, though Team Liquid has had a few rough matches recently. Truthfully, so has Cloud9, so this match should show us what to expect a bit more the rest of the split.
