That doesn’t leave too many hitters to choose from especially when James already selected the best home run threat on this slate in Fernando Tatis Jr. With Tatis Jr. off the board I am going to pivot to his teammate Pham as Merrill Kelly sucks as James talked about and Pham is hitting the ball well right now. Pham went deep last night for the Padres and now has seven extra-base hits including two home runs in his past seven games.”
Jared: Max Muncy – “Muncy’s been an xBH machine since come off the IL recently, and homered last night off Tommy Nance late in the game to prove he’s back to health. Well, he faces Alec Mills this evening who is allowing LHB to slug .512 against him for his career with a .378 wOBA and 14 HR in 70 career IP (320 TBF). That’s a pretty easy situation for me to invest in for one of the league’s most powerful hitters – who thankfully is eligible on the main slate tonight. Lock and load.”
