Gfinity PLC (LON:GFIN) said it has acquired Drawnite.com, a fan website for the video game Fortnite in another expansion of its digital media arm.
The esports firm said Drawnite has more than 14,000 Fortnite fans signed up for its interactive map services and bespoke content and that the site will serve as the latest addition to its growing network of Fortnite websites and platforms which attract over 500,000 users per month.

Gfinity said its digital media business will leverage the growing search engine optimisation (SEO) authority of its core websites, Gfinityesports.com and Realsport101.com, to “supercharge” the growth of Drawnite’s user base while also integrating the website’s interactive map and features into the group’s existing Fortnite offering.
The firm added that the website will also be fully monetised by its advertising partner Venatus.
“Drawnite.com is the latest addition to Gfinity’s ‘what we own’ pillar and allows us to engage with even more fans of one of the world’s biggest games. Across GDM in 2021, we have reached nearly 2mln users and delivered over 3.3mln page views through Fortnite-related content alone”, Talal Musa, head of Gfinity Media, said in a statement.
“The technology behind Drawnite.com’s website, combined with our ability to drive this engagement, will help us continue to drive growth and revenue opportunities within the Fortnite community”, they added.
Shares in Gfinity were 1.8% lower at 4.9p in late morning trading on Friday.
