Egypt’s superstar Mohamed Ramadan the 1st ever playable Arab character in ‘Free Fire’ game – Egypttoday

 

Free Fire, Garena’s first self-developed game, announced that Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan is its latest character to be added to the game in a future update.

 

A Singaporean online game developer and publisher declared  this week that the collaboration marks one of the most significant tie-ups within the gaming industry, as the actor will becomes the first ever playable Arab character in the ‘Battle Royale’ game.

“Free Fire’s partnership with Mohamed Ramadan builds on its strategy to continuously bring exciting content for all users across the world,” Garena said in its latest news release.

“The introduction of this new character is part of Free Fire’s effort to offer a unique and localised gameplay experience [as well as] tailor its content to appeal to gaming fans in MENA,” it added.

Garena is yet to reveal more details surrounding the release date of the Mohamed Ramadan character and its abilities.

Garena Free Fire – also known as Free Fire Battlegrounds or Free Fire- is a battle royale game, published by Garena for Android and iOS.

According to Garena’s reports, Free Fire became the most downloaded mobile game globally in 2019.

As of May 2020, Free Fire has set the record with over 80 million daily active users from around the world. Since November 2019, Free Fire has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Mohamed Ramadan has gained popularity from his acting career in action-films and television series hits such as: Al-Ostoura (The Legend), Zelzal (Earthquake), El-Prince (The Prince), Ibn Halal and Nasr Al-Saaeed (Falcon of Upper Egypt).

He has also become a prominent figure in the rap music industry recently with releases including: Number one, Mafia, El-Malek, Ya Habibi and Ana El-Batal.
