Rocket League Season 2 is underway, but when can we expect Season 3 to drop?
The current season of Rocket League has shaped up to be a fantastic continuation of what Psyonix set out to do after going free-to-play mid-2020.
With a new Rocket Pass full of fantastic rewards, a new car, a new arena, and a steady flow of crossover events and returning seasonal playlists… It’s safe to say Rocket League is doing well.
However, what about the future? Here’s everything you need to know about Rocket League Season 3 and when it should drop.
Release Date
In order to deduce when Season 3 is starting, we need to look at when Season 2 will end. We know that sounds simple, but sometimes it really is that simple.
Rocket League Season 2 is due to finish on March 31st 2021. With this in mind, and assuming there aren’t any delays, Rocket League Season 3 should start soon after.

Therefore, Rocket League Season 3 should begin on April 1st 2021 or April 2nd 2021.

There isn’t a trailer yet and next-to-no official word on what’s coming to Rocket League in the coming months.

From what we understand, though, the Ranked System will remain the same in the new season and if we look to Season 2, we can get an insight into what to expect.
Rocket League Season 3 will bring a new 100-Tier Rocket Pass to the table, for one.
On top of this, we expect there to be a new arena and a healthy rotation of limited-time playlists to keep things fresh.
