Fortnite players experienced a new musical error on December 31st, 2020. The song, “Flip Reset” by Kaskade & WILL K had been removed from players’ lockers. This meant that those who had access to the song or had the song set as their main menu music could no longer listen to the song. The Fortnite Status Twitter account later tweeted that Epic Games was aware of the error and would update when they had more information.

The “Flip Reset” track was added to Fortnite as part of a celebratory crossover between Fortnite and Rocket League. As part of the crossover, the Battle Bus became a playable vehicle in Rocket League. Rocket League players also had the ability to unlock Fortnite-themed cosmetics. Fortnite joined in on the celebration by adding “Flip Reset” to the game for free.
Epic Games has yet to update players with news of a resolution to the bug.
