We’re heading towards the end of 2020, which isn’t the worst thing given how the year has gone!

But there’s some fun to be had yet, with plenty of our favourite games whipping up some Christmas content to get stuck into.

We’re expecting to see Frosty Fest make a return to Rocket League.

Frosty Fest 2020

Frosty Fest has been a staple part of the Rocket League calendar since 2017, so it would come as a surprise if we didn’t see a fourth instalment this year.

The aim of Frosty Fest is to collect as many Snowflakes as you can during your online matches. These snowflakes are used as a currency in order to unlock a series of Holiday-themed rewards.

Start Date

We’ve not had any word of a confirmed event yet, and therefore we are still waiting on a confirmed start date.

But, if we look at the dates from previous events, we can give you an educated guess.

The event tends to start in either the second or third week of Decemeber, and run through until the opening week of the New Year.

With that in mind, we’re expecting the event to begin on or around Friday, December 17.

Festive Rewards

So what exactly will you be able to buy with your Snowflakes?

Again, we haven’t had a confirmed list, but we can work off what we’ve seen in previous years.

Christmas-themed decals are usually the biggest hit with fans as they get themselves into the Christmas spirit, and we expect that to be the same again this year.

Freebies

Let’s no forget about the freebies!

Players who logged into the event during its run period last year were granted the Xmas Lights Trail for free.

We could also see Golden Gifts return, with the free-to-open gift boxes granting players rewards from different collections throughout the year to date.
