How long is Rocket League going to be free-to-play? Gamers want to know if their access will run out.
The popular vehicle soccer game went free-to-play Sept. 23 after initially releasing in 2015. Game developers Psyonix hinted at Rocket League transitioning to a free setting back in July, but did not initially provide a release date.
Although there have been some server issues and bugs, likely due to a large influx of new players, the free release has been a success. The fact that the game is notorious for already being cross-platform as well as now free-to-download and play makes it accessible to so many gamers regardless of console.
