Captain options

Math ($15,600)
Math has been one of the best Rocket League players in South America for a while now, at least from a statistical standpoint. He has played 127 games in the Rocket Street Grand Series across three seasons. In two of those seasons (45 games apiece), he managed well over one goal per game. In all three seasons, he has averaged over 3.5 shots per game.

CaioTG1 ($15,300)
In the second season of the Rocket Street Grand Series, CaioTG1 was absolutely sensational with 1.14 goals, 0.72 assists, 1.50 saves and 3.86 shots per game. Those averages were bound to come down. It did in the third season of the RSGS but not by much, as he maintained his goal-scoring efficiency. He has proved his consistency and skill.

Caard ($16,200)
Caard was on this list for Saturday’s Rocket League slate as well. He is likely to stay here through this tournament because of his experience. Caard proved his value in the previous RSGS season, ending as the MVP. He did so by showcasing quality on both ends of the field. Defensively, he had 1.89 saves per game. Offensively, he aggregated 31 goals on 116 shots in 35 games.

High-priced flex options

Haberkamper ($9,600)
Incidentally, Haberkamper finished the previous season of the RSGS with the most goals (39) and most shots taken (152). Despite that top finish, he will not be too pleased with his efficiency (0.80 goals on 3.1 shots taken). Still, for this Rocket League slate, he has enough offensive fluency to translate into fantasy points.

ajgAnotherGuy ($9,800)
Unfortunately, ajgAnotherGuy doesn’t have a large bank of games to make a reliable statistical analysis. It wouldn’t be fair to him because that sample of games totals just 55 across two seasons of the RSGS. One thing was common in his performances: a strong defensive presence, with 2.17 saves per game as an average. He could prove to be a strong differentiating factor if he finds his offensive game.

Others to consider: Valt ($10,000).

Value flex options

Luk ($8,800)
Let’s look at another tournament for Luk — the spring qualifiers in the lead-up to this tournament. In nine games, he managed 1 goal, 0.56 assists, 1.78 saves and 3 shots per game. His offensive conversion rate was quite impressive, with 33.33% of shots being converted into goals. In the main event, that effectiveness will be hard to match but he could still provide value even with a fraction of that.

Others to consider: Shaddd ($9,000), FirefoxD ($9,200).
