For festive moments and special occasions, Epic Games usually freely gives some cosmetics in Fortnite. This was the case most recently with the Travis Scott concert, where players were able to get a glider and two emotes without paying a penny — but just by completing some challenges related to the show.

Dataminers discovered that another item was going to be given to the players for free: Neon Wings.

We don’t know exactly when the item will be able to join our inventory. FireMonkey has done a lot of research on the subject, and explains that the Neon Wings should be available after another live show. As we write this, Epic Games is launching a new series of shows around Major Lazer’s musicians. However, these are only ” trials” performed in Party Royale. There is little chance that the Backbling will be granted to us at the end of the performances.

It’s not impossible that new challenges will make it possible for us to unlock it. We’ll know more soon, but until then we’ll have to be patient: FireMonkey informs us that the Backbling may not be available until Season 3.
