A Fortnite bug causing players to constantly reload weapons is getting them eliminated.

Fortnite has – and probably always will – had a few bugs in the game. Part of the reason why we love Fortnite so much is the constant updates, which makes it nearly impossible to fix all of the issues without more popping up.

On the tail end of Season 2, Epic are working to address performance issues and to balance their game. At the same time, they’re trying to compete with other titles by sticking to their uniquely frequent update schedule.

Bugs will always slip through the cracks, and that’s what we have here. Ever since the last Fortnite update, players have been experiencing a bug that forces you to reload a weapon after picking it up.

This bug always seems to happen when you pick up a gun that isn’t fully loaded, but also happens when a gun already has a full clip, as you can see in the video, above.

The bug gets triggered with all weapons: ARs, Shotguns, SMGs, Pistols – you name it. There isn’t much of a problem if you aren’t in the thick of battle, but it can spell your death if you’re trying to win a fight.

Players have been widely reporting this problem for the last couple of weeks, but there’s no mention of it on the Fortnite Community Issues Trello board.

Hopefully, articles like this one and clips like these will bring it to Epic’s attention. This is not a small problem and needs to be addressed.
