Fortnite Hype Nite is a standard ruleset tournament, with the full rules available from Epic Games. Each elimination earns a player one point. Reaching the top 12 earns another three points, as does reaching the top six, reaching the top four, reaching the top two, and winning the victory royale.
Rather than cash, players earn Hype that then allows them access to more competitive tournaments.
Friday’s competition saw Belty1x, kryLaux, and MestakeTM tie for first place with 95 points. Belty1x earned the highest average eliminations count of the three at 2.90 for 29 total.
