As the excitement of the new Fortnite season continues, the weekly mission list continues to be updated. This week’s theme is wild life, so let us focus entirely on the animals on the island. Our guest today is frogs: how to find frogs and how to hunt a frog from 5 meters or less in Fortnite?
With Fortnite Chapter 4, we are not alone on the completely revamped island. The number of wild animals, which were first added to the game years ago, is quite high this season. Besides the usual animals like boars and wolves, we also have interesting friends like Sky Jellies or Magic Llamas.

Another species that lives on its own is frogs. These cute animals live happily near the rivers unless you mess with them. Of course, since they are relatively easy to find, this week’s quest calls for a little more.
Without wasting any more time, let’s start talking about how to find frogs in Fortnite and how to hunt them down from less than five meters away.
How to Find Frogs in Fortnite
Just like other wild animals, frogs do not have specific areas to spawn. So you can find them anywhere on Fortnite Island. But due to their nature, you are more likely to see them on the riverbank than on a hill.

To find frogs in Fortnite, open your map and navigate to areas with narrow rivers. One of these areas is The Citadel. Although it’s a place where many players jump, you can look for frogs in the surrounding wetlands, while everyone else is interested in the inside of the castle.
The riverbanks of Anvil Square or Slappy Shores, which are a bit off the beaten path, are also good frog spawning grounds. Unlike wolves or wild boars, which you can find more easily on the Fortnite map, you may have to look a little further to find frogs.
How to Hunt a Frog From 5 Meters or Less in Fortnite
The challenge in hunting frogs this week is not finding them. Because as long as you look in the right place, you will find them in a few minutes. The real challenge of the task is that you need to get five meters. Because there is no point in hunting these frogs from a distance with a long range rifle like the DMR.

You can not reasonably approach the frogs. As soon as the distance between you decreases, they will start hopping and running away from you. So choose your favorite shotgun and run towards them. They will avoid you, but you will be faster than them. Reduce the distance and shoot without aiming. Up to two bullet hits will be enough to take them down.
Since another task this week is to hunt 10 wild animals, you can continue doing that while hunting frogs.
