The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover is now in full swing with players completing quests to increase their power level, dressing up as their favourite characters and even watching the anime in-game.

It’s in the battle royale modes where the crossover is being felt at its best, however, with the powerful Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud items and versus battle mechanics adding a whole new element to the gameplay.

One of the more interesting additions to the game, however, is the new Capsules that players will encounter during their gameplay. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

What Are The Dragon Ball Capsules?

To put it simply, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Capsules are a slight twist on the regular Supply Drops you’re likely already familiar with when playing Fortnite.

The key difference with Capsules, however, is their massively increased spawn rate and their ability to travel across the map, unlike Supply Drops which have one fixed location which they slowly descend towards.

You’ll be able to see Capsules rocketing through their air like a meteorite, their location and movement tracked on the map for all players to see. Eventually, they’ll come to a stop and that’s when you can track them down.

Once you track down and open your capsules, you’ll be greeted with a free Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud item to use against your opponents. We never thought we’d say that in reference to Fortnite!

Capsules are the one and only guaranteed free way to get these two items so if you’re short on gold after forking out the 500 needed for the set at a Dragon Ball Vending Machine, this is your best shot at being able to get the job done
