We are past roughly halfway through the current Fortnite season, and we have witnessed some exciting challenges with this week’s requiring players to throw different consumable pickups.

For this week, we had more challenges than usual, with players needing to complete a total of nine challenges in order to get the entire XP for this week. Getting XP is pretty crucial in Fortnite considering it is used to level up your battle pass, which in turn can be used to get a plethora of rewards such as cosmetics, items, and much more. While players would get consumable pickups in almost every match, many are not aware of how they can throw them while playing a match.

Before you can throw these pickups, you need to first get them. Thankfully, this is not a pretty difficult task as consumable pickups are found all across the map and you should be able to get them pretty quickly. Once you have the item with you, you need to ensure that you don’t consume it accidentally. Instead, equip it in your hand and aim it like you normally would aim any weapon. After that simply, press the fire button on your controller or mouse, and your character should throw the consumable pickup.

If you are wondering what consumable pickups are, then it is pretty straightforward. Basically, the items which can be consumed are the ones that fall under the category. These include shield potions, berries, bandages, and medkits among others. Do note that these items need to be different and you can’t throw the same item thrice in the game in order to complete the task. Once you throw three of these items, the task should get completed and you should get the rewards.
