Anyone’s Legend (AL) vs. Ultra Prime (UP) (2:45 AM EST) (-120 UP)
UP enter this match trying to climb out their three-game losing drought but will face a team they have a slaying disadvantage to in AL (UP- 0.77 team overall K/D, AL- 1.08 team-overall K/D). The baron rate has gone well for AL as of late (64% to UP’s 42%) which may benefit the high damage dealers for AL in this matchup. Betty should be considered heavily here with a price discount and with the highest damage rate (26.9%) in the bot-lane for AL at the moment. For those considering a one-off option to go with AL lineups from UP Cryin would be the player to target with damage higher than anyone on both sides and could go overlooked with a projected low ownership for contests. However, he has regressed in his past two games so it’s definitely a risk with a price increase to his name. Regardless, AL will have to slay heavily here in order to solidify their chances in this match because their start to the objective hasn’t been the best as of late with a 29.4% first-tower rate compared to UP’s 53.3%.
Liiv Sandbox (LSB) vs. Nongshim RedForce (NS) (4:00 AM EST) (-159 LSB)
LSB is currently the highest win-streaking team right now at four games in a row and may get the benefit facing a team in the lower end of the standings in NS. Having the second highest mid-lane rating at 19.4 should help LSB tremendously in this match with NS having the second worst in the LCK at -20.2. That being said Clozer would be viable for LSB and can be selected in lineups for a bargain with low projected ownership. This may be trouble for NS as well with Clozer not even being the most efficient player on his team. Teammates that would complement Clozer well in lineups would be Prince in bot-lane (attack damage carry) who has the highest damage rate on the team at 29.9% and the support Kael who is the second most efficient slayer at a 6.3 KDA. Since NS doesn’t have too much of an edge objectively which may result in LSB dominance.
Bilibili Gaming (BLG) vs. Weibo Gaming (WBG) (5:00 AM EST) (-193 WBG)
Despite the objective being fairly close in this head-to-head (WBG- 40% dragon rate, BLG- 45%) the cs-differential should allow WBG to compelte their’s more efficiently (33.4 rate) compared to BLG’s 32.9 rate. This may result in monsters/minions being handled quicker for WBG and slaying becoming easier throughout battles. The bot-lane main for WBG in huanfeng may have a chance to rebound here for his WBG squad due to remaining the most consistent of both teams with a 6.2 KDA and ownership in the mid-range compared to other ADC’s on the slate. However, there is some risk for him to exceed his value with his opposing bot-lane dealing slightly more damage. Therefore, TheShy can be looked at as a hedge in top-lane who is dealing the most damage of both teams with a slight price decrease.
Royal Never Give Up (RNG) vs. Top Esports (TES) (7:00 AM EST) (-113 RNG)
One of the closest matchups on the slate ranking wise with RNG coming in at 5th and TES at 3rd should go the distance. RNG’s early game momentum has potential to go there way with a 42.9% rate versus TES’ 23.5% which will be crucial with TES having the objective edge to start (58.8 first tower rate vs. RNG’s 50%). GALA if anyone may be the one to get RNG over the edge with the highest cspm (9.2) in bot-lane and the highest damage at 30.9% which should result in more scoring for him and getting his price dropped should relieve salary in the rest of RNG based lineups. The battle in bot-lane won’t be easy though because TES’ bot-lane main in JackeyLove is not too far away in damage (28.8% verus GALA’s 30.9%) and having a teammate to complement him with the highest kill-efficiency of both sides in Knight (9.4 KDA). All in all, this match could go either way.
DW Kia (DK) vs. Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) (7:00 AM EST) (-700 DK)
Arguably the most one-sided matchup on the slate which should be in favor of DK, especially objectively where DK should dominate with a 56% first three tower rate compared to HLE’s 26%. This makes slaying more crucial for HLE and unfortunately, no one is as efficient on their team as the opposing mid and bot-lane in ShowMaker/deokdam who both have 5.3/5.1 KDA’s. Deokdam has the highest kill-participation of the two at 76.8% (second highest on the team) and is in the middle of the pack projected ownership wise but there should be no surprise if it ends up higher with the advantage DK has in this matchup.
