With the release of the recent v21.10 update, Fortnite Season 3 came with a ton of exciting new features for players to enjoy in-game and vibe with the summer-themed challenges.
Loopers are having a great time arriving on the island via the Battle Bus, dropping into Rave Cave on Ballers, utilising the recently unvaulted Lightsabers, and taking on Darth Vader as a boss.
Aside from Ballers, loopers don’t get to appreciate vehicles the same way they did last season with tanks and armoured battle buses, which are still around the island.
Skateboards and other vehicles, such as suspected motorbikes, could join the fun this season. Let’s find out more about this below.

Fortnite Skateboards Leak in Season 3
Many rumours this season have focused on a motorcycle vehicle that, according to many leaks, may be added to the game shortly and will be a part of the summer-themed extravaganza Epic would offer to the gamers. Developers may introduce a vehicle that is comparable to hoverboards but looks more like a skateboard to double the enjoyment, though.
Recent social media leaks from HYPEX claim that Epic has just begun developing skating features comparable to the sliding mechanics already featured in the game. Going uphill is slower, whereas going downhill is faster.
This hints that Roller Skates or Skateboards could perhaps be added to the game this season or shortly as either vehicles or traversal tools. Additionally, adding these things to Fortnite would only make sense given that the entire summer theme of Item Shop cosmetics centred around skating and surfing, such as the recently released Skate Park Royalty Pack.
The gaming features are shown in the leaked video above, where a player slides without crouching and moves more slowly as they go upwards.
Additionally, it appears that the player is kicking the board with their feet to go quicker and may jump from great heights without suffering severe fall damage.
Gamers are already accustomed to using hoverboards since they were the original traversal vehicle in Chapter 1 for loopers to perform tricks.
