DraftKings CoD Esports DFS Rundown (CDL) – June 04, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Minnesota ROKKR (ROKKR) vs. Toronto Ultra (TOR) (1:30 PM EST) (-133 MIN)

MIN got a dominant win and sent the Pro Am Classic defending champions in NYS home packing. However, they get another tough challenge here in the home team in TOR who are coming off a strong win against the worst team in the league. The last time these teams met it went down to the wire and it could very much go that way once again. The control gametype becomes even more crucial since this is the only gametype TOR was unable to win last time. MIN have been undefeated in the gametype (4-0) while TOR has been 2-3 since the last faceoff. This could give MIN some edge into this matchup with Havok being the most consistent with a 1.21 K/D along with his assault rifle main teammate in Attach (1.18 K/D) having a chance to possibly counter the opposing assault rifle main in Insight (1.13 K/D). This may be enough to slow down TOR’s run but can go either way.

Florida Mutineers (FLA) vs. Seattle Surge (SEA) (3:00 PM EST) (-156 SEA)

The first winner’s bracket matchup of the day will go down between two of the streakiest teams in the league catching fire as of late. SEA will look to extend their five-game winning streak while FLA looks to build on their three-game winning streak. SEA was also the last team FLA lost to before the winning streak so this rematch may put more pressure on FLA. Hardpoints have been the toughest beats for FLA against SEA (0-2) record against them so the opening of this series may shift momentum heavily. Pred leads both teams with the most engagements at 60.1 and is the most efficient with a 1.26 K/D so he may end up causing havoc once again in this rematch. Unfortunately, for FLA Pred was also the most dominant player in hardpoints when they last faced off and had a 1.38 K/D in the gametype which is not too far from where he is currently. That being said the aggression may end up being too much for FLA to handle and SEA should be able to continue their dominance against them.

Los Angeles Thieves (LAT) vs. Atlanta FaZe (ATL) (4:30 PM EST) (-303 ATL)

The team that made the biggest upset so far in the Major in LAT will now get their biggest challenge against the top 1-2 team in the game in ATL. These teams haven’t played each other in a while but the last time it ended up going down to the wire and this is when LAT was at their peak in respawn gametypes in the beginning of the game. However, LAT and ATL have both been up and down but the control gametype has been LAT’s biggest gap with their 8-12 record since the last match versus ATL’s 15-8 record. No one on LAT has had a kill-death ratio above 1 but Envoy leads the way in engagements for his team so his wrap around flanks and routes will be crucial here. Unfortunately, the tiny terrors in aBeZy and Simp are both top two in engagements for their team as well (ATL), so they should be able to counter Envoy. Although, this match has potential to go either way ATL seem to be back on their footing and should win.
