Epic Games has a habit of ending each in-game season with some sort of blockbuster display that, on a lot of occasions, puts other battle royale games to shame. This next season isn’t going to be any different and new Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event leaks have revealed the event’s start date – and brought about speculation of the Chapter 3 Season 2 live event start time.

Known Fortnite leaker ‘ShiinaBR’ has taken to twitter to share the information that the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event start date will be June 4 – with Season 3 starting a day later on June 5.

Right now, there’s no solid information on a specific Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event start time – however, that doesn’t mean we can’t hazard a guess looking at the previous season’s event’s start times and what we’ve seen from Epic Games in these situations before.

The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 server downtime began at 00:00 PST / 03:00 EST / 08:00 GMT on March 20 – this downtime began straight after the live event associated with the change of seasons. However, in the past, we’ve seen in-game events kick off a lot later than this – and they usually last a few hours in-game before the servers are shut off.

CONFIRMED: The Live Event will take place on June 4 (Saturday), and Season 3 starts on June 5 (Sunday)!

With that in mind, we speculate that the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event start time is going to be somewhen around 05:00 PST / 08:00 EST / 13:00 GMT and more in-line with in-game events we’ve seen in the past – as opposed to the most recent in-game event.

Of course, take this with a pinch of salt until we know more – Epic Games still hasn’t revealed anything specific about the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 live event yet.
