William Byron – DK: $10,000 | FD: $12,000 – Starting 19th

We head to the dirt track of Bristol this weekend for one of the most unique races of the year. William Byron has been on absolute fire recently, winning both races at Martinsville last week and a third-place finish at Richmond the week before. In Byron’s last four Cup races he has 9.2x or higher value on his salary and has fallen as the optimal in all of them. More so, Byron has dominated at short tracks and we get another one here. While this surface is dirt we almost need to ignore that fact as there is just not enough data to cling onto to make an educated edge here. Byron starts 19th here, but carries the third-best odds to win the race. Not only does that give us differential upside regardless, but it also should lead to some of the fast laps and possible laps led. Byron has simply just been one of the best drivers this year with some of the best equipment and no real reason to stop playing him right now.

Brad Keselowski – DK: $7,900 | FD: $7,300 – Starting 18th

Brad Keselowski hasn’t had the season he likely hoped for, but with a price tag under the $8,000 mark, Keselowski is starting to provide more value than disappointment. We have to train our mind set to temper expectations when it comes to name recognition and while Kes is no longer a high upside play, the price is now low enough to consider him a high upside value option. Last year at the Bristol dirt race, Keselowski finished 11th after starting 20th. Kes has three career wins at Bristol and has eight top-10 finishes. With the dirt surface I like to think we have a little higher variance here so someone like Kes at a cheaper price on FanDuel than DraftKings is in play.
