DraftKings CS:GO Esports DFS Rundown (PGL) – April 17, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

GamerLegion (GL) v.s. Fnatic (FNC) (6:15 AM) (-180 FNC)

To start the slate both teams will be looking to rebound off losing streaks (GL- one game, FNC- two games). GL may have the benefit after defeating FNC in their previous faceoff 16-13. A large part of the slaying came from iM as well who had a +16 kill-death differential, while only one other teammate had a positive kill-death differential. Fortunately, iM has still been the most consistent for GL with a 1.14 K/D so he should be expected to lead the way for his team once again. The closest player to that range is mezii of FNC so it may come down to who wins the majority of their duels to make it easier for their team. That being said this match can go either way.

OG (OG) v.s. mousesports (MOUZ) (6:15 AM EST) (-115 MOUZ)

The rankings are extremely close in this matchup as well with OG entering as the 18th ranked team while MOUZ enters as the 17th. Both teams are on winning streaks as well, but MOUZ may have more momentum with four-games in a row compared to OG’s one-game. Also, MOUZ swept OG the last time these teams met in a series 2-0 which may benefit MOUZ even more. Although the slaying was quite balanced across the board for MOUZ, the combination of torzsi/frozen leading the way with double-digit kill-death differentials gave their team the edge. There’s definitely potential for this match to go the distance with both teams having their players with kill-death ratios above 1, but luckily for MOUZ their top two slayers from last time have been the most efficient so far with torzsi having the highest K/D of 2.0 so far. This may help MOUZ a lot with torzsi being his team’s main sniper and having a chance to slow down the opposing sniper in mantuu who happened to be the only player on his team last time these teams faced off with a positive kill-death differential.

SAW (SAW) v.s. Berlin International Gaming (BIG) (6:15 AM EST) (-238 BIG)

There’s a slight gap in rankings in this matchup with BIG possibly having an edge as the 19th ranked team versus the 32nd ranked team in SAW. SAW was also unable to get double digit rounds (8-16 versus BIG) in the last faceoff. Krimbo/tabseN contributed the most for their BIG squad and tabseN led the way in damage per round at 95.8. Also, tabseN has maintained his high damage per round at 92 so there’s a high damage of him causing havoc against SAW. Since no player on SAW is dealing this much damage, they may end up struggling once again. If tabseN is able to dominate in this match then BIG should be able to extend their four-game winning streak.

Team Vitality (VIT) v.s. Dignitas (DIG) (6:15 AM EST) (-423 VIT)

To conclude the slate, one of the best snipers in the game in ZywOo will look to help his team rebound from a one-game losing streak against a DIG team they dominated the last time they faced off 16-8. However, ZywOo didn’t even lead the way in kills for his team in that matchup which could be scary for DIG if he’s on point this game. The damage per round has been lower than usual as of late for ZywOo (third-lowest on the team) which could give DIG a better chance of preventing him from dominating. The opposing sniper in hallzerk also has a slight damage edge (71.8 compared to ZywOo’s 68.1) so this bodes well for DIG. In addition, the teammate that was the most efficient with ZywOo is no longer on the team so it’ll be interesting to see how VIT adjusts. HEAP has also been the most consistent out of both teams (1.14 K/D) and may be able to help DIG pull off an upset here.
