Please note that players on DraftKings and FanDuel have multi-position eligibility and may not always match their position with each other. In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses, as NBA news changes the slate frequently.
Guards
Tre Jones ($4,000 DK, $3,700 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 113.75 | 15.5% | 0.89 | 16th | 49.53 |
Dejounte Murray has been ruled out for tonight’s game due to an illness and that makes Jones my top value play on this slate. Jones is my top value play based on the way he has played in the previous games that Murray has missed. In those 11 games, Jones is averaging 11.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 0.9 steals, and 29.13 fantasy points. The Nuggets who the Spurs play tonight are also a team to pick on with point guards as they have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.
Jalen Green ($7,400 DK, $6,700 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 113.25 | 23.4% | 0.81 | 20th | 40.73 |
It took Green a while to adjust to the NBA but now that he has watch out. Green has scored at least 20 points in six straight games and has scored over 30 points in four straight games. In those past four games, Green is averaging 31.5 points, four rebounds, three assists, and 41.05 fantasy points.
Ishmael Smith ($4,100 DK, $3,900 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 111.50 | 18.8% | 0.94 | 13th | 46.02 |
While Tomas Satoransky is getting the starts for the Wizards right now Smith is the one playing better basketball. Smith has at least 21 fantasy points in four straight games for the Wizards with at least 29 fantasy points in back-to-back games. Smith is averaging 26.58 fantasy points per game during this stretch.
Forwards
Patrick Williams ($3,800 DK, $4,400 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 112.50 | 11.7% | 0.65 | 14th | 41.81 |
Williams had a slow start in his return from injury as the Bulls limited his minutes but he seems to be all the way back. In the Bulls’ past two games, Williams has played at least 30 minutes and is averaging 11 points, nine rebounds, a steal, and two blocks. Williams has at least 30 fantasy points in each of those games.
Aleksej Pokusevski ($6,700 DK, $6,100 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 113.25 | 20.4% | 0.96 | 30th | 45.22 |
I really like the way Pokusevski is playing for the Thunder. In his last eight games, seven of which have been starts Pokusevski is averaging 12.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.9 steals+blocks. Pokusevski has at least 29 fantasy points in eight of those games. I not only like the way Pokusevski is playing but I also love the match-up against Portland as they rank dead last in team defensive net rating and fantasy points allowed per game to forwards this season.
Power Foward/Centers
Alperen Sengun ($6,700 DK, $5,800 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 113.25 | 22.7% | 1.14 | 20th | 51.97 |
Christian Wood is out once again for the Rockets and that makes Sengun an elite play in my book. The reason why I feel this way is based on the previous eight games that Sengun has played that Wood has missed. In those games, Sengun is averaging 13.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.3 blocks, and 32.3 fantasy points.
Moses Brown ($4,800 DK, $4,900 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 111.25 | 19.3% | 1.12 | 19th | 55.67 |
The Cavs have been without both Jarett Allen and Evan Mobley for the past four games and that has led to Brown getting a chance to show what he can do. In those four games all starts, Brown is averaging a double with 13 points and 11.8 rebounds. Brown has at least 21 fantasy points in each of those games and has produced over 32 fantasy points in two of those games.
