Please note that players on DraftKings and FanDuel have multi-position eligibility and may not always match their position between each other. In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses, as NBA news changes the slate frequently.
Guard
Brandon Williams ($6,500 DK, $5,200 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 106.75 | 26.6% | 0.91 | 15th | 46.35 |
Williams is a solid mid-tier option at the guard position tonight in my eyes as he has played really well since moving into the Trail Blazers starting lineup for Anfernee Simons. In those four games, Williams has played at least 34 minutes three times and is averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.3 steals+blocks. Williams has at least 27 fantasy points in the three games that he played over 30 minutes and is averaging 37.07 fantasy points in those games.
Goran Dragic ($4,200 DK, $4,600 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 109.75 | 17.8% | 0.81 | 6th | 42.96 |
Dragic put up a dud last night for the Nets against the Magic but is in a prime bounce-back spot tonight due to this being a home game for the Nets which means Kyrie Irving is not able to play. In the Nets’ last two home games, Dragic is averaging eight points, three rebounds, 6.5 assists, and two steals+blocks. Dragic has at least 24 fantasy points in both of those games.
De’Aaron Fox ($9,400 DK, $9,500 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 116.00 | 28.8% | 1.09 | 14th | 47.22 |
There are a lot of stud players on this huge 12 game slate which is likely going to leave Fox to fly under the radar tonight and I am going to take advantage as I love the way he is playing. In his past nine games, Fox has produced at least 40 fantasy points eight times and at 49 fantasy points in six of those eight games. Fox is averaging 31.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, eight assists, 1.2 steals, and 51.2 fantasy points in those nine games.
Forward
Josh Hart ($8,600 DK, $7,400 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 106.75 | 18.2% | 0.95 | 15th | 40.64 |
Hart is a little pricey on DraftKings tonight at $8,600 in salary and I am okay not having a lot of exposure to him on that site tonight. FanDuel is another story as Hart is one of my top overall plays on that site as he feels a little too cheap at $7,400 in salary based on the way he is playing. Hart has taken over as the Trail Blazers’ main man on offense due to all the injuries they are dealing with and has taken 21 shots in each of the past two games. In those two games, Hart is averaging 37.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, five assists, and two steals while producing at least 44 fantasy points in each of those games.
Rudy Gay ($3,100 DK, $3,500 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 115.75 | 20.4% | 0.87 | 18th | 42.63 |
There is nothing numbers-wise that says you should roster Gay tonight as he has not produced over 20 fantasy points in over a month. With that being said if you need a dirt-cheap player on this slate Gay is the player I would roster due to the fact he is in line for a lot of minutes tonight with both Danuel House and Bojan Bogdanovic out with injury. Gay is not just in line for a lot of minutes but the Bulls are also a very good match-up for small forwards as they have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position this season.
Power Forward/Center
Trendon Watford ($6,800 DK, $6,700 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 106.75 | 16.6% | 0.96 | 15th | 42.69 |
Watford is the third Portland player in this article today and I love him just as much if not more than I love the other two Trail Blazers in this article. The reason I love Watford so much is his combination of salary and the way he is playing. Watford has at least 28 fantasy points in five of the Trail Blazers’ past six games and has been a force in their past two games. In those two games, Watford is averaging 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, a steal, two blocks, and 45.75 fantasy points.
Evan Mobley ($7,900 DK, $8,200 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 107.00 | 20.7% | 1.01 | 9th | 50.27 |
Mobley has really been thriving since Jarrett Allen went down with an injury early against the Raptors. Including that game and the four games since Mobley is averaging 21.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.8 blocks. Mobley has at least 44 fantasy points in four of those games and is averaging 47.46 fantasy points in those games.
