Anyone’s Legend (AL) v.s. Weiibo Gaming (WBG) (2:00 AM EST) (-488 WBG)
AL have been struggling as of late and are currently on a three-game losing streak and now face a WBG that was able to rebound and get a win in their last match. WBG currently has the average tower difference edge of 2.4 compared to AL’s -2.8. This won’t make matters any easier for AL since they’re also dealing less damage per minute (1736) versus WBG’s 2110. Angel and TheShy will more than likely be the ones to contribute to WBGS damage since they both have the highest damage percentage (26.1%,21.3%). Since AL is already at a disadvantage objectively and struggling with slaying (0.81 team overall K/D) to WBG’s 1.07 its hard to see them succeeding.
Liiv Sandbox (LSB) v.s. T1 Esports (T1) (3:00 AM EST) (-563 T1)
Another match that can potentially go one-sided will go underway as T1 look to remain undefeated and extend their three-game winning streak against a LSB team that’s on a two-game losing streak. T1 has had the second-best mid-lane in the league behind GEN so they most likely will try to capitalize off of that. Faker has been the second-most efficient slayer for T1 which makes things potentially worse for LSB since Oner has been the highest kill-participator at 75.2% in his jungle role. LSB is also the only team with a 0% tower-rate so T1 has an even better chance at gaining momentum early. That being said LSB may end up getting dominated in this matchup.
Invictus Gaming (IG) v.s. Royal Never Give Up (RNG) (4:00 AM EST) (-413 RNG)
RNG continue to keep the momentum going for their team (three-game winning streak) and will face an IG team near the bottom of the standings trying to rebound from two-losses. RNG have been one of the more successful teams in the objective with an 81.8% first tower rate versus IG’s 50% rate which does not bode well for IG since they’re among the worst slaying teams. IG currently has the third lowest team overall K/D (0.67) while RNG has a 1.36 team overall K/D). This should make the match more easier for RNG to win behind GALA (7.5 KDA) and Xiaohu (6.1 KDA) in the attack-damage carry and mid-lane roles.
Top Esports (TES) v.s. Victory 5 (V5) (6:00 AM EST) (-155 TES)
A more even matchup will go underway here with both teams on two game winning streaks but with V5 having a 4-2 record while TES has a 4-4 record. The slaying is also quite close between these two teams so whoever is able to succeed at the objective more often should have a better chance to prevail. TES currently has the higher dragon control rate of 57% compared to V5’s 52% so this may be the opening needed for them to succeed. JackeyLove and knight have the highest cspm (monsters/minons killed) at 9/9.1 rates in the attack-damage-carry and mid-lane roles for TES so they most likely will make the objective easier for their team. However, Photic does have the highest cspm out of both teams (9.4), but he is the only player on his team with that rate of cspm so it may be more of a struggle for V5. Regardless, this may end up being one of the closer games on the slate.
Team DRX (DRX) v.s. Kwandong Freecs (KDF) (6:00 AM EST) (-145 KDF)
DRX still haven’t been able to get on the right track as they try to get out of their losing streak (three games) and now have to face a KDF team that seem to finally be getting their groove (based of rebounding and getting their first win last game). The mid-lane will be DRX’s biggest flaw that KDF may end up targeting. KDF’s mid-lane also hasn’t been great but they do have the less-worse one with a -2.4 rating compared to DRX’s -12.4. Fortunately, for KDF their most relied upon slayer at the moment is their mid-laner in FATE (75.5% kill-participation), along with their Teddy at the bot-lane position (75.5% kill-participation). Therefore, KDF should be able to prevail in this matchup since DRX may not be able to defend their mid-lane well and having to stop one of KDF’s main initiators in battle.
