Rocket League’s latest season has been out of this world, but are we going to be brought back down to earth with Season 6? Here’s everything we know about the next major update dropping for Psyonix’s soccar title and when we should learn more.
When does Rocket League Season 6 start?
We don’t have an official announcement just yet, but we can look at the current season’s duration to get a sense of when the next Rocket League update should be on the way.

Season 5 is expected to end on January 20th, 2022 – so, we’re expecting Rocket League Season 6 to kick off on the same date. It’s worth taking this with a pinch of salt, though, until we know more.
Psyonix doesn’t like to reveal too much information too early, so that means we might not find out officially when Season 6 is coming until a week before it drops.
What are we expecting from Season 6?
At the moment, it’s hard to predict what theming we’re getting for Rocket League’s next season – however, we can talk about some of the content we’re expecting to be added.
Rocket League Season 6 should introduce a new car through the new Rocket Pass and over 100 Tiers of unlockable cosmetics. We should also get a new Arena – or at least a new variant of an existing Arena – added to the rotation of maps too.
If we’re lucky, there will be a new LTM added to Rocket League too. We’re not sure about this one though, because we’ve not seen a fully new LTM added to the game in quite some time. It might be at that stage where we’re destined for re-hashes for the rest of the game’s lifetime. We hope not, but only time will tell… Keep an eye on Rocket League’s social media channels for more.
