Please note that players on DraftKings and FanDuel have multi-position eligibility and may not always match their position between each other. In this article, we will be breaking down some of our favorite plays on the slate at their positions. Remember to always keep your eye on the news as the day progresses, as NBA news changes the slate frequently.
Point Guard/Shooting Guard
Kemba Walker ($6,900 DK, $7,600 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 108.75 | 22.1% | 0.97 | 11th | 42.72 |
The Knicks are starting to get everyone back from Covid protocols but it doesn’t look like they can send Walker back to the bench with the way he is playing. In his four games since his return to the Knicks lineup, Walker is averaging 26 points, 8.3 rebounds, and seven assists. Walker has at least 39 fantasy points in each of those four games.
R.J. Hampton ($3,200 DK, $5,300 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 101.75 | 21.0% | 0.80 | 8th | 46.64 |
Cole Anthony is going to miss tonight’s game for the Magic and that puts Hampton on my radar tonight. In the previous seven games that Anthony has missed this season, Hampton is averaging 9.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and a steal+block in 24.1 minutes per game. Hampton has three games with at least 31 fantasy points in those games that Anthony has missed.
Small Forward/Power Forward
Otto Porter ($4,900 DK, $6,500 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 111.75 | 15.1% | 0.94 | 19th | 38.69 |
Porter is getting solid minutes for the Warriors right now with at least 29 minutes in three straight games including back-to-back starts. Porter is not just playing well but he is also producing in those games with averages of 13 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, a steal, and 2.3 blocks. Porter has at least 33 fantasy points in each of those games. With the Warriors still down several key players including Draymond Green tonight I don’t see a reason why we don’t continue to see Porter produce at the level he has been producing.
LeBron James ($11,300 DK, $10,900 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 116.75 | 29.2% | 1.35 | 28th | 42.49 |
The Lakers are struggling right now but it is not the GOAT’s fault. James has been putting up monster numbers night in and night out for the Lakers and has four straight games with over 30 points scored. In those four games, James is averaging 35 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks. James has at least 49 fantasy points in each of those games and has at least 61 fantasy points in three of those games. If we go back even further we will see that James has at least 61 fantasy points in six of his last nine games. James is not only putting up huge numbers but the Rockets are also a team I like to target players against as they have the third-worst team defensive net rating and are allowing the most fantasy points per game this season.
Power Forward/Center
Nathan Knight ($3,200 DK, $3,800 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 103.75 | 17.2% | 1.19 | 22nd | 49.77 |
I was high on Knight last night at his salary due to his opportunity and he paid off big time. Knight put up a 20/11/4 stat line with a steal and a block on his way to 43.2 fantasy points in his 29 minutes of action in that game. Tonight I am going right back to the well with Knight as he is still dirt cheap and should get the same opportunities as last night as the Wolves are still missing a lot of players including Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid due to Covid protocols.
Omer Yurtseven ($4,900 DK, $6,200 FD)
| Team Total | Usage Rate | Fantasy Points Per Minute | Opponent Defensive Net Rating Rank | Fantasy Points Allowed Per Game to Position |
| 107.25 | 20.9% | 1.09 | 21st | 57.00 |
Yurtseven has been playing well for the Heat as of late with at least 21 fantasy points in four straight games but that is not why he is in this article. Yurtseven is in this article based on his last game. In that game, Yurtseven started with Dewayne Dedmon and Bam Adebayo both out and had an excellent outing. Yutseven played 33 minutes while producing a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds on his way to 34 fantasy points. With both of those players out again tonight and a match-up against a Wizards team that has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to centers this season I don’t see why we don’t see a similar performance from Yurtseven.
