Top Plays

Eagles ($5,000 FD, $3,600 DK)

Opponent Opponent Team Total Opponent Points Per Game Opponent Total Sacks Allowed  Opponent Total Turnovers
Giants 15.25 17.0 29 21

The Eagles defense has not produced big fantasy games as of late as they only have one takeaway in their past three weeks but they are still playing great football as they are not allowing a lot of points or yards. The Eagles have allowed less than 300 yards in three straight games and have allowed less than 20 points in four of their past five games including in three straight games. It is only a matter of time before the sacks and turnovers come their way and I think we see that time this week against the Giants. The Giants’ offense has been trash all season long and now they are likely to be starting Jake Fromm to see what they have in him. Fromm has been on a practice squad most of his career and saw his first NFL action last week against the Cowboys in mop-up duty.

Seahawks ($4,500 FD, $3,000 DK)

Opponent Opponent Team Total Opponent Points Per Game Opponent Total Sacks Allowed  Opponent Total Turnovers
Bears 18.50 17.1 45 25

The Seahawks defense is playing steady consistent football. They have allowed no more than 23 points in nine straight games and have produced at least six fantasy points in four straight games. This week I am expecting we see more of the same from them as the match-up with the Bears is one I like to target defenses against. The Bears have scored the fourth-fewest points per game this season, have allowed the second-most sacks, and are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses.

Value Play

Bears ($3,700 FD, $2,500 DK)

Opponent Opponent Team Total Opponent Points Per Game Opponent Total Sacks Allowed  Opponent Total Turnovers
Seahawks 24.5 20.1 42 11

In years past I would never target an opposing defense against the Seahawks as they have always had a potent offense. That is not the case this year as the Seahawks are a team to target defenses with. The Seahawks are only averaging 20.1 points per game which is the ninth-fewest in the NFL this season and are have allowed 42 sacks which is the fourth-most in the NFL. The Seahawks have allowed at least nine fantasy points to five of the six opposing defenses they have faced since their bye week. The Seahawks’ offense has not only struggled this season especially as of late but the Bears’ defense looked really good last week against the Vikings allowing just 193 total yards and 17 points while racking up four sacks and a takeaway on their way to seven fantasy points.
