The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) introduced e-sports, which stands for electronic sports, as a statewide competition last year.
Featuring competitors playing a variety of video games, the Illinois e-sports state finals are now coming to Evergreen Park Community High School (EPCHS), 9901 S. Kedzie Ave.
