Several games, especially Fortnite, provide their players the advantage of creating content around the game and getting paid for it. But for the last few months, the development company Epic was not paying their creators the amount of money that they promised for their hard work.

But now it seems that there is a piece of good news for the creators as they get their hard-earned money back. Therefore, now there is a stream of creators who are commenting and sharing their thoughts on the matter as they finally receive their payments from Epic Games.

Epic Games finally paying its Fortnite creators, and many show gratitude for the same

In a recent tweet by industry insider and Fortnite creator Ben, who shared his experience of getting the payment that he earned by creating content for Fortnite. He wrote, “Whatever Epic Games just did with support a creator earnings… I’m seriously going to pass out omg this is the best day ever. “

Reacting to this Australian YouTuber LazerBeam said, “Today is a good day…Epic games is my favourite company.” To which Ben further replied, “I didn’t even get the email or a warning, I just woke up to it and almost threw up.”

It is also to be noted that the Fortnite owner, Epic Games, was not paying their creators for some time now for their hard work and creativity due to several issues with Apple. Notably, there was a recent trial held for the matter, in which Epic Games won the argument in court, thus they started giving out payments.

Epic Games vs Apple lawsuit

One of the major reasons that can be speculated for why Epic Games was not able to pay their creators under the Support-A-Creator program can be the Apple vs Epic Games court battle. This is happening because Epic Games had to face some legal issues regarding direct payment using Apple’s payout system.

Therefore, both companies are now resolving an ‘anti-trust‘ issue in the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco.
