The Telus Esports Series 2 is the second annual esports tournament ran by the popular Canadian telecommunications company. Originally, Esports Series 2 was only to feature ‘Rocket League,’ but the company recently announced a second game to add to the roster, ‘Apex Legends.’ Both games will have a number of available tournaments during the four-week-long esports series.
The Rocket League series is separated into four divisions based on skill level, ranging from casual players to ultra-competitive players, while the Apex Legends series is separated into skill levels based on paid entry, as it is harder to adequately judge the skill of players in this game.
Both games will share an $80,000 CAD prize pool, and will only be accessible for Canadians aged 15 and older.
