Keller Williams has entered the metaverse. Yesterday, Williams revealed that he put together the ensemble that recorded the Jug Band emote in the Fortnite: Battle Royale video game featuring a cover of Lady Gaga’s chart-topping 2008 hit “Poker Face.” The emote has been available in the game’s online store since September 16.

The project Keller dubbed “The Fortnite Jug Band” consists of Williams on guitar, bass and jaw harp; Jay Starling on dobro, Eddie Dickerson on fiddle and Lowell Sale on banjo. “We only know 48 seconds of Poker Face by @ladygaga and we are only available for private parties at this time,” Keller Williams quipped in social shares.

“Every rollicking hootenanny starts with a single jug,” reads a description of the emote. Fortnite players can purchase emotes to express themselves in the popular video game series. The Jug Band emote, which requires four players, is on sale in the Fortnite: Battle Royale Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks, the currency used in the game.
