Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 multiplayer is now available to play, but the release date for CoD MW2 Season 1 is still a couple of weeks away with fans wanting to know the battle pass price and upcoming content.
It’s been a mixed launch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 multiplayer. While many agree that the campaign is quite frankly brilliant, the multiplayer has been criticised for constant crashing on consoles and PC, as well as because modes like hardcore are missing despite being touted for launch.
While it’s been a mixed bag, fans will be pleased to hear that S1 is on the cusp and will launch alongside Warzone 2.

CoD MW2 Season 1 release date
The release date for when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 Season 1 will come out and start is November 16th.
This is also the same day as the release date for Warzone 2. Just so you know, Activision’s battle royale sequel will be released as a separate free-to-play product, but Mobile isn’t scheduled for launch until sometime in 2023.
In preparation for the launch of S1, you have 18 Operators that can be unlocked during the pre-season. There are also over 30 weapon platforms for over 50 unique weapons.
MW2 Season 1 battle pass price
The battle pass price for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 Season 1 is 1,000 COD Points, but you get it for free you if you bought the Vault edition.
Activision’s CoD MW2 Vault edition costs £99.99 and also comes with 55 tier skips for the BP. In addition, you also get the Red Team 141 Operator Pack and FJX Cinder Weapon Vault.

The roadmap for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 Season 1 hasn’t been revealed yet, but Activision has outlined some of the content that will be coming.
Per Charlie Intel, there will be new guns, a returning fan-favourite map, and there will also be the launch of hardcore mode. Furthermore, the mid-season update will introduce Raids.
In addition to all of the above, S1 will also mark the arrival of the game’s mysterious DMZ mode.
