Fredit BRION (BRO) vs. Gen.G (GEN) (4:00 AM EST) (-3050 GEN)
GEN have been the strongest team in the LCK still and get the benefit of facing one of the bottom tier teams here in BRO. BRO have had the worst mid-lane in the league thus far with a (-21.3) which should be GEN’s biggest edge here with a 16.6 rating. Chovy should be considered heavily here as GEN’s mid-laner in contests, especially with projected ownership to not be among the highest in his role. Unfortunately, for BRO their most consistent slayer as of late in bot-lane may also go countered by GEN’s highest damage dealer in Ruler (bot-lane) who can be paired with Chovy in lineups. Due to the chance of GEN getting early momentum objectively as well (71.1% first tower rate) versus BRO’s 31.6%, BRO may end up getting dominated as a result.
Anyone’s Legend (AL) vs. EDward Gaming (EDG) (4:45 AM EST) (-333 EDG)
Another matchup that has potential to become one-sided will go underway here as EDG enter with a slaying advantage (1.39 team overall K/D) against AL’s 0.95. This should force AL to focus way more on the objective but they may struggle in this regard as well due to their 48% dragon control rate versus EDG’s 60% rate. Scout of EDG should benefit from the objective being an important factor and having the highest cspm (9) which should lead to more scoring in lineups. However, Scout is projected to be the highest projected mid-laner on the slate and should be viewed more as a safe/cash type of option. His teammate, on the other hand in Viper who is slightly more efficient (5.5 KDA- most on team), and projected to be slightly less owned could be used as a hedge in bot-lane. The biggest risk is that EDG is projected to be one of the more popular selections on the slate which could limit your lineup construction even though EDG should prevail.
Liiv Sandbox (LSB) vs. T1 Esports (T1) (7:00 AM EST) (-283 T1)
This matchup should be the closest on the slate with both teams being within similar range slaying wise (1.20 team overall K/D for LSB, 1.25 for T1). Both teams have an edge against each other with LSB having the dragon control rate edge at 64%-51% while T1 has the first to three tower-rate of 78% to LSB’s 44%. Since T1 has a larger margin objectively they should be able to convert it to a victory but it can go either way. Oner should contribute heavily here in scoring as T1’s jungle main (who has been destroying monsters/minions the most) and has the highest kill-participation at a reduced priced after dominating his value last game. Prince of LSB is also a viable one-off for those selecting mostly T1 players in their lineups and he is projected to come in at minimum to no ownership with the slaying edge over anyone of T1 (5.4 KDA). Regardless game stacking this matchup may be worth considering in some lineups with viable options on both sides.
Invictus Gaming (IG) vs. Oh My God (OMG) (7:00 AM EST) (-210 OMG)
To conclude the slate these teams have not been slaying as well lately but they’re extremely close objectively and in slaying which could result in this game going to the wire too. OMG have had more baron rate success as of late which could create more openings for them with the damage/ability boosts. The highest damage dealer on OMG in Creme should perform well with the chance of his damage getting increased but could be worth going under in exposure (due to him being the second highest owned in his role), and because he has the lowest kill-participation on the team. However, His teammate Able is the same price in bot-lane and projected to be slightly less owned and has been tied for the most consistent on the team with a 3.4 KDA. For those that prefer Creme over Able in lineups can also consider Ahn of IG as a one-off as well in bot-lane (third in damage per minute) to differentiate yourself from others in contests but OMG should prevail here.
