DWG Kia (DK) vs. Liiv Sandbox (LSB) (4:00 AM EST) (-174 DK)

Both teams have been streaky as of late but LSB has an opportunity to take advantage of DK regressing here (one game losing streak). ShowMaker has a chance to take advantage of DK’s negative mid-late rating at the moment compared to LSB’s 13.7, but his ownership is projected to be second highest in his role so there should caution when selecting him in lineups. However, his teammate Canyon should be considered heavily (despite higher projected ownership) because people may be likely to lean more towards ShowMaker exposure since Canyon didn’t reach his value last game. Regardless Canyon is cheaper and leads the team in vspm (1.66) which as a result may help LSB more for the objective edge and potentially more scoring in contests.

LGD Gaming (LGD) vs. Thunder Talk Gaming (TT) (4:45 AM EST) (-283 TT)

TT should have the slaying edge in this matchup with a team overall K/D of 1.09 compared to LGD’s 0.69. Also, the baron rate success has favored TT more so far at 57% versus LGD’s 41% which may make their boosted damage/abilities even more difficult to counter in battle. Ucal should benefit from this in mid-lane for TT due to being the most consistent in kills with a 4.5 KDA. However, he is projected to be the highest owned mid-laner on the slate so for those looking for a hedge his teammate Kepler may be worth targeting due to having the highest damage rate on the team at 26.9%. With LGD not having two of their players starting that could’ve been strong counters in the mid and bot-lane roles there should be no surprise if they’re dominated here, but having a lot of TT exposure may not set yourself apart much from the field if their high ownership holds.

Gen.G (GEN) vs. Kwangdong Freecs (KDF) (7:00 AM EST) (-1150 GEN)

The strongest team in the LCK will look to extend their seven-game win-streak here (GEN) against a team near the bottom of the league in KDF. The objective should heavily favor GEN here with an 80% first to three tower-rate versus KDF’s 41%, and having the strongest mid-lane in the league may just make the objective easier. Chovy should be targeted in lineups heavily after multiple previous games exceeding his value and currently having a projected mid-range ownership in his role. The most efficient player out of both teams in Ruler of GEN (9.2 KDA) can also be paired with Chovy in lineups who is also not projected to be the highest owned in his role. On the other hand, for those that want a hedge to Ruler the opposing bot-lane in Teddy had a slight price decrease (with little to no projected ownership) and is dealing slightly more damage for KDF at 29.8% versus Ruler’s 29.6%.

JD Gaming (JDG) vs. Weibo Gaming (WBG) (7:00 AM EST) (-147 JDG)

To conclude the slate, the slaying between these two teams is not that far off with JDG having a slight advantage with a 1.47 team overall K/D compared to WBG’s 1.19 K/D. The dragon control rate has been better for JDG at 61% versus WBG’s 44% rate though which may give them more opportunities to prevail. The battle of the bot-laners may have a large impact on which succeeds due to both having the highest vspm rates for their team (destroying monsters/minions). Hope of JDG may have a tough battle against huanfeng of WBG but the damage (24.9% versus 23%) should allow Hope to get enough edge to win more battles when they occur. Regardless this match may end up being one of the closest on the slate and it wouldn’t hurt to have exposure from both teams if possible.
