DraftKings League of Legends Esports DFS Rundown (LEC) – July 23, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Astralis (ASTRA) vs. Team BDS (BDS) (11:00 AM EST) (-152 AST)

Two teams with rankings near the bottom of the standings kick off the slate and BDS have the worst mid-lane in the league which may be ASTRA’s biggest edge. Dajor received a price increase but should reach close to his value if not more in mid-lane for ASTRA here, but is projected to be the second highest owned in his role. Kobbe should complement (at a projected ownership at the higher end) Dajor well here with the highest kill efficiency (5.3 KDA) along with baron going well for ASTRA as of late (41% to 20%) which will only boost their damage/abilities.

MAD Lions (MAD) vs. SK (SK) (12:00 PM EST) (-233 MAD)

SK have struggled lately slaying wise which may be their biggest downfall here with MAD having a 1.60 team overall K/D compared to their 0.84. The combination of Amut at top-lane and UNF0RGIVEN at bot-lane for MAD may end up being the main contributors to the slaying due to them having almost double the kill-death efficiency of their opposing roles. UNF0RGIVEN may be worth investing in more with a less projected ownership while dealing more damage. The objective has not gone well for SK thus far (33% first to three tower-rate versus MAD’s 80%), so this may end up being one of the more one-sided matchups in favor of MAD.

Misfits Gaming (MSF) vs. Team Vitality (VIT) (1:00 PM EST) (-163 VIT)

Slaying and the objective are fairly close between these two teams and they haven’t performed that well (0.84 KD- MSF, 0.81- VIT). However, the mid-lane is heavily in favor of MSF with a 15.9 rate which bodes well for a bounce back Vetheo game here in mid-lane at little to no projected ownership. Even though Carzzy of VIT is coming off a rough kill-less game it’s difficult to ignore him as a hedge with the highest damage in bot-lane of both sides but risky with a price increase and having the lowest slaying consistency on his team. Regardless, this game has a chance to go down to the wire and MSF can pull off an upset.

G2 Esports (G2) vs. Rogue (RGE) (2:00 PM EST) (-128 RGE)

RGE has maintained the strongest mid-lane in the league which is three times better than G2’s which could lead to a strong Larssen performance for RGE. However, Larssen is projected to be the most popular choice at his position and should be considered more for a cash style of play in contests due to potential high ownership. The other roles of both teams have slaying efficiency that’s close between each other but Comp may be the next best option for RGE exposed lineups with the second highest damage and price decrease after just reaching his value in previous games.

Fnatic (FNC) vs. Excel (XL) (3:00 PM EST)

To close the slate slaying may become even more crucial in battle here with both teams not being too far from another (XL- 62% dragon control rate, FNC- 55%).  However, FNC’s jungle rate edge of 53.9% to XL’s 50.7% lately may lead to Razork creating openings for FNC, especially with the highest vspm. There should be no surprise if Patrik ends up exceeding his value for XL though with more damage (28.3%) than his opposing bot-laner. Also, Patrik has below double-digit projected ownership than FNC’s most consistent slayer in bot-lane (Upset) who hasn’t reached his value in several previous games. Therefore, this game should go the distance but can go either way.
