DraftKings League of Legends Esports DFS Rundown (LCK/LPL) – July 22, 2022 – FantasyCruncher.com DFS Articles & Insights – fantasycruncher.com

Gen.G (GEN) vs. Liiv Sandbox (LSB) (4:00 AM EST) (-520 GEN)

GEN open up the slate with an objective advantage (77% first to three tower-rate versus LSB’s 50%) which should complement their slaying edge here (2.17 team overall K/D versus LSB’s 1.23). Ruler has remained one of most consistent bot-laners (11.5 KDA) and may go overlooked at his position (fourth highest projected), which should be heavily considered with the same price after exceeding his value in more than one game previously. Also, with Chovy being not too far behind in kill-efficiency (8.2 KDA) he should be able to perform well in mid-lane as well while paired with Ruler and received a price which shouldn’t be overlooked.

Thunder Talk Gaming (TT) vs. Weiibo Gaming (WBG) (4:45 AM EST) (-425 WBG)

The objective push for both teams here are extremely close here with a 50% first-tower rate for WBG compared to TT’s 52.2%. Therefore, there should be no surprise if Kepler contributes heavily for TT due to having the highest vspm (10.1) which should make the objective for his team easier while eliminating the majority of the monsters/minions. However, TheShy of WBG may make it difficult for TT to pull off an upset with the most damage of both sides at 30% in top-lane. However, TheShy is the safer choice of the two and may end up one of the more popular if not most popular top-laners on the slate. Regardless, the TT objective early edge along with their slaying should help them prevail here with Kepler as a viable one-off.

DWG Kia (DK) vs. DRX (DRX) (7:00 AM EST) (-204 DK)

The best mid-lane team on the slate in DK should benefit here against a DRX team that has a negative rate in that regard. ShowMaker’s price hasn’t moved and may be the one to dominate as DK’s mid-laner with a mid-range projected ownership. Also, paired with his teammate deokdam in bot-lane who is just as efficient (7 KDA to his 7.8) should bode well for DK lineups due to a price discount as well and likelihood of exceeding his value once again. Zeka does slightly more damage than ShowMaker in mid-lane (29.3% versus 23.5%) and could be a hedge for ShowMaker with potential to outperform him. Regardless, DK’s first to three tower rate gap compared to DRX’ (71% to 59%) should warrant DK exposure lineups to be more successful here.

LNG Esports (LNG) vs. Victory Five (V5) (7:00 AM EST) (-388 V5)

V5 have been the most dominant slaying team in the LPL so far with a 1.60 team overall K/D which could give them a slight advantage here against LNG who have had a 1.03 K/D up to this point. The baron rate has been on the higher end for V5 thus far (73.2 rate) compared to LNG’s 54.6 rate which may cause V5 to deal more havoc with their damage/abilities. Photic should capitalize off of this due to dealing the highest damage for V5, but should be viewed more as a safe cash play with potential top two ownership on the slate in the bot-laner role. Rich also should have the biggest edge at top-lane with more than double the kill-efficiency of his opponent in the same lane (3.7 to 1.2 KDA), but with potential high as well. That being said, if there was anyone worth considering from LNG even though they may not win it would be Doinb who received a price decrease and has done more damage than anyone on both sides.
