Kwangdong Freecs (KDF) vs. T1 Esports (T1) (4:00 AM EST) (-763 T1)

KDF have gradually crept up the bottom half of the standings lately, but have been on a losing streak (two games) and unfortunately, will now face off with the highest win-streak team (five in a row) in T1. T1 should have a strong edge here objectively with a 75% first to three tower-rate over KDF’s 43%, and Oner should be taken advantage of in your lineups with a price decrease and the likelihood of exceeding his value in jungle lane. Oner has the highest vpsm (monsters/minions killed) and highest kill-participation (70.8%) on the team. However, the biggest tradeoff is the second highest projected ownership Oner may come with in his role. Therefore, Faker could be selected to balance out Oner shares in lineups due to having the next highest vpsm on the team and second highest damage.

Anyone’s Legend (AL) vs. FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) (4:45 AM EST) (-129 FPX)

Despite FPX having the first blood rate advantage here (62% compared to AL’s 42%) which could contribute to early momentum there should be no surprise if AL puts up a good fight if not upset with more baron success as of late (67% to FPX’s 52%) to help boost their damage/abilities. Also, FPX is a less efficient slaying team with an overall 0.90 KD versus AL’s 1.21 KD. Betty if anyone may be the one to contribute heavily towards that AL upset in bot-lane due to having the highest efficiency of both sides but is projected to be the highest owned bot-laner (attack damage carry). Regardless, Betty should be in some lineups with a discounted price and slaying edge to help exceed that value once again. A potential one-off to succeed from FPX may end up being Summit in top lane though with the highest damage rate of both teams (31.9%) and closest in efficiency to Betty. This matchup has potential to go either way but AL has performed better objectively as of late so they shouldn’t be overlooked.

Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) vs. KT Rolster (KT) (7:00 AM EST) (-238 KT)

HLE is the second most struggling team at the moment in the LCK with a five-game losing streak which KT can take advantage of with their current two-game win-streak momentum. KT has almost double the edge in first-to three tower rate (54% to HLE’s 23%) so slaying may become even more important for HLE. Unfortunately, HLE’s most consistent slayer and mid-laner Karis may be outmatched in duels against the second highest damage dealer and opposing mid-laner Vicla (who has had a drastic price increase but likely to give users that select him an edge with a projected lower ownership in contests). The next best suitable option in contests may be Aiming in bot-lane who is in a similar price range and ownership as Vicla and slightly more projected ownership. However, Aiming is likely to score more in contests with the highest kill-participation and damage on his team.

EDward Gaming (EDG) vs. LGD Esports (LGD) (7:00 AM EST) (-925 EG)

LGD have been amongst the top three most struggling teams as of late in the LPL (five-game losing streak) and will have to face an EDG team in the top-half of the standings but also on a one-game losing streak. Regardless, LGD has two players beneath 1 kill-death ratios which may hinder them in battles. Viper may have an advantage here in bot-lane even with a price increase (most efficient on the team with a 4 KDA) and opponent of one of those players. The previous game for Viper was beneath his value with a cheaper price, but this edge is difficult to ignore here. Although, Haichao of LGD has the most damage of both teams the pressure may be too much to carry the load for his team and while likely having to deal with Scout in mid-lane who is just as efficient (4 KDA) and the highest kill-contributor for EDG. LGD does have a slight objective edge with a first tower rate of 47.6% to EDG’s 40% but not the possibility of not being able to maintain slaying power may hold them back and result in a dominant series for EDG.
