Having said that, Salamence can learn Fire Fang and Fire Blast which are super effective against Ice Type Pokemon. As a result, in certain situations, Fairy and Dragon-type can be more reliable. Salamence is at its most vulnerable state against these Pokemon:

- Weavile with Ice Shard and Avalanche

Mawile
